Meet the
Culinary Arts Staff
Chef Sam Musto
Chef Musto began his formal education in 1988. He has studied in the States and abroad, receiving his Bachelor's degree from Wayne State and his Chef Degree from yada yada. He has taught at Oakland Community College, Eastern Michigan University, Detroit Public Schools, Schoolcraft College and has been at SWWC since 2007. While at SWWC he has led students to compete locally and nationally; winning numerous awards. In 2017 his competing student was awarded the Bronze Award at the Skills National competition.
In his spare time he enjoys scooping dead cats off basement floors and sharing his vast wealth of sympathy and compassion to all he comes in contact with.
I am Chef Andy Lehmann and I joined the Culinary Team of the SWWC in December of 2017. Prior to coming to SWWC I worked at Livonia Career Center, The Art Institute of Michigan, and Schoolcraft College. I also worked in the restaurant industry, and catering industry. Currently, I own a catering company that keeps me in the business end of things. I also maintain my Certified Executive Chef certification for the last 9 years.
I look forward to using the skills that I have learned through the many areas of food I have toured, to enhance the future careers of our students at the SWWC. I enjoy traveling, coaching and golfing.

Dawn Stetler
I am Dawn Stetler and I am a part of the SWWC as a Baking Technician. I have been a professional cake decorator most of my career, and attended Washtenaw Community College for my culinary education.
I began my tenure here at the SWWC in 2014. I was eager to create a baking setting that was approachable for students to succeed. The baking area of the kitchen has been a success as the many of our students have learned at a rapid pace and have won competitions with Skills USA.
I enjoy building the skills of students in baking and will continue to raise the bar of what they can achieve. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling and watching movies.
